NightbaneWolf's First Encounter with SoliceMini Silly Story: NightbaneWolf's First Encounter with Solice A young white wolf pup sauntered through the forest, she wasn't in the mood for sleeping so she had left her den where her mother and siblings laid asleep. Her blue eyes wide and curious, she glanced around, taking in the size of the huge trees and the morning glare from the sun as wagging her tail, she headed deeper into the forest. Soon she approached a plain field with many tall grass and several dandelions as butterflies flew around the area. "I bet i can catch that" NightbaneWolf thought with a grin as getting down into a hunter's crouch, she left forward at a yellow but

A brief history of FellaWe all know Fella. If you have been a member of deviantArt for at least 1 day it's quite probable you've encountered him at least once, he's everywhere! And this shouldn't come as a surprise, he's dA's mascot after all! But how much do you know about him? Let's take a look at a Brief History of deviantART's mascot.Fella was brought to life thanks to `switched, who designed him back in April 2001 for a mascot contest. Back then he didn't look exactly as we know him today, his figure was a lot more basic and circular and his expression wasn't as human as we're used to today. However his main features remain, his mischievous look and his colors, most probably based on the site layout's at the time
SUPER IMPORTANT PERCY JACKSON NEWS!!!HOLY MOTHER OF GODS UNCLE RICK ANNOUNCED THAT HE IS WRITING A NEW PERCY JACKSON SERIES!!!! OMG I THINK I JUST DIED :iconicantplz:An excerpt: And I will announce this here for the first time, right now I'm working on a new book of the Greek myths, told from Percy Jackson's point of view. My hope is to offer the original stories, but told in a modern perspective that appeals to our kids today. I decided to set aside the earlier anthologies, as much as I love them – Hamilton, D'Aulaires, Evslin, Greene – because the writing is a little dated. Instead, I've leapfrogged straight back to the primary sources. I'm using Ovid, Hesiod, Homer and many others, and trying to cast the entire scope of Greek mythology afresh. John Rocco, who does my covers, is illustrating, and we're hoping to create something that's going to be useful in your libraries and classrooms.Anyway, one of my goals is
Framed ArtI framed up my autographed pic of my Misha/Cas art (which my friend candygramme was nice enough to get for me at VegasCon!)Now since Mish signed UP ON THE WHITE BORDER cos he could not deface himself (twice) I floatmounted the art print on a matching white matboard, with a border of a small wooden fillet with a pale yellow silk mat, and framed out with a Victorian style frame that features a design that is somewhat medieval, and looks like hearts. (one of those things difficult to get in a photo but maybe later I can try again) and luckily I get a very very large discount on framing from the gallery, or else could not afford dis!I'd like to frame some more of my prints, just not certain which ones right now. This is on my green wall in the dining room, and is near the doorway to the kitchen, which I plan in doing retro blue and yellow.BTW - this image in my shop donates all proceeds to Mish Charity 'Random Acts.org'http://printfection.com/karadin
